In October: Far East Facade a subsidiary under China State Construction Development Holdings Limited has been awarded with the "2024 Asia's Most Valuable Brand Award".
In May: Over 20 reporters from various media such as People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency, Economic Daily etc. visited Far East’s Zhuhai Intelligent Manufacturing Production Facility to explore the innovative stories of China Construction in actively cultivating and developing new growth drivers in the process of promoting the transformation and development of architecture, urban renewal and building city landmarks.
In March: Grand opening of The Apple Jing'an Store which is also Apple's second-largest global flagship retail store in terms of retail store level.
In December: In the documentary series "Architecture Intelligence" jointly produced by China State Construction Engineering Corporation and CGTN (China Global Television Network) features facade projects such as Burj Khalifa in UAE and The Henderson in Central, Hong Kong, which were undertaken by Far East Facade, a subsidiary under China State Construction Development Holdings Limited which further showcase our strength in the industry.
In November: Far East Facade (Shanghai), a subsidiary under China State Construction Development Holdings Limited was awarded with the facade project of the Shenzhen OPPO Headquarter (T1, T2, podium, sunken plaza), with a contract value of over HK$560 million. This project is currently the world's most complex double curved glass facade project, which will further consolidate Far East Facade's leading position in the field of curved and special-shaped facade construction.
In October: A documentary namely "Common Construction" by China Central Television (CCTV) features facade projects such as Burj Khalifa in UAE and The Henderson in Central, Hong Kong, which were undertaken by Far East Facade, a subsidiary under China State Construction Development Holdings Limited which proves our strength as industry leader in technology and innovation.
In February: Li Jiachao, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, mentioned at the UAE-Hong Kong Business Forum that Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, was constructed by a Hong Kong enterprise. This further demonstrates Far East Façade’s strength in the façade industry to the world.
In June: Far East Facade (Macau) Limited, a subsidiary under China State Construction Development Holdings Limited was awarded with the largest single façade contract of over HK$2.24 billion of Galaxy Macau Phase IV.

In September: China State Construction Development Holdings signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Longyan Energy Technology.

December: This year, Wynn Palace opened already, the fire inspection for The 13 Hotel was completed and the progress of MGM project goes smoothly.
December: More than 60 subcontractors and suppliers joined the Group’s “2016 Annual Strategic Partners Meeting”, it strengthens the confidence to continue the cooperation with business partners in future.
November: The Group successfully held “2016 Far East Badminton Championship”. Forty colleagues from Hong Kong, Macau, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Changsha, Xi’an formed 6 teams participated in the competition.
November: The Group has got honor labels of the “Green Office” by World Green Organization and “Better World Company” by Junior Chamber International Hong Kong.
August: The Group held the first “Company Day” and set up Books Corner, Suggestion Box, FE Caring Cards, Books Donation and played interactive games on that day.
August: The Group’s Zhuhai Factory started to run. Factory’s entire area is about 85,000 square meters, plot ratio is 1.0, it is operated to be used as a modern factory which has design, production, experiment and innovation departments.
July: Mr. Zhu Yijian, the Group’s Executive Director, Vice Chairman and CEO, visited China Construction Steel Structure Corp. Ltd. East China Region, looking forward to the cooperation opportunity for a win-win business in future.
July: The Group won the bid of 99 Hudson Street project at New Jersey, which the owner is China Overseas American, Inc. The amount of the contract value is US$68 million. The entire area of curtain wall is 48,600 square meters; it is the tallest building at New Jersey and the first overseas cooperation between the Group and China Overseas American, Inc.
June: Our curtain wall project, Quebec National Museum of Fine Arts in Canada (curtain wall manufactured by the Group) was officially opened on June 24, 2016. Canadian Prime Minister J. Trudeau visited the site and highly commended on it.
June: The Group won the bid of Aurora Melbourne Central project in Australia, which the owner is UEM Sunrise Berhad. The amount of the contract value is HK$151 million. The entire area of curtain wall is 48,000 square meters. This project also represents our brand's influence and expandability in Australian market.
March: The Group won the bid of Taikoo Place Phase 2A Development project, which the owner is Swire Properties. The amount of the contract value is HK$445 million. It is one of the tallest and largest project that the Group has done recently.
March: The Group continually obtain the “Caring Company” honor label from 2013.
January: Joined the “2015/2016 Hong Kong & Kowloon Walk” held by The Community Chest of Hong Kong.
November: Gamma USA Inc. was awarded the contract for the 125 Greenwich Street project in New York, USA, which amounts to HK$172 million. The project, located in the neighborhood of the former World Trade Center site, is a 77-storey residential skyscraper undertaken by Plaza Construction Inc., a subsidiary of China State Construction Engineering Corporation Limited (“CSCECL”). This represents the first cooperation between the Group and CSCECL in North America.
September: Gamma USA Inc., a subsidiary of the Group, was awarded by MGM the contract relating to installation of glass curtain walls for the National Harbor project in Baltimore, USA. With a site area of 93,000 square meters and a contractual amount of HK$338 million, the project is the biggest construction project in the location and surrounding areas in recent years. This represents another cooperation between the Group and MGM outside Macau.
August: Commencement Ceremony of hotel project of Emperor International Holdings Limited, with Mr. Zhou Yong chairman of Far East Global Group Limited.

February: “The 4th Wu Zhi Xing” by the China Overseas Sorority.
February: The Group won the bid for a children’s hospital project, which will be the first hospital to be fully installed with environmental-friendly, energy-saving glass curtain walls in Hong Kong. The area of curtain walls for the project is approximately 32,900 square meters, and the contract value amounts to HK$223 million. The hospital is a turnkey project undertaken by an associated company of CSCIHL and SOC.

August: The Company purchased manufacturing facility in Buffalo City, New York, USA to further expand the capacity in North America Region.
July: The Company was awarded of major contract in Canada.
June: The Company entered into a sub-construction engagement agreement with each of CSCIHL and China State Construction Engineering Corporation Limited (“CSCECL”) for the continual development of the Company’s business. The Company expects the synergy effect to provide exterior facade solutions to CSCIHL and CSCECL.
