This November 12th 2016, the “China Overseas Cup” running session’s closing ceremony and the “Happiness Run” event was held by the China Overseas Holdings Limited (refer as COHL) in Hefei city successfully. Among them, five athletes from the Shenzhen company and Shanghai company have formed a Far East Global Group (refer as 830) team to participate in this activity.

In this June, under the call out of COHL’s 2016 Run For Fun, 830 actively participated in this event with the spirit of “Run for the public welfare, run for love”. The event was divided into three parts: “Dream Run”, “Breeze Run”, and “Happiness Run”, according to three different themes: “Charity”, “ Probity”, and “Friendship”.

Throughout the stage of “Dream Run”, 830 employees were encouraged to register through OA system and Wechat group, and downloaded a sports app on their smart phones to mark down their running mileage. Management staff from 830 headquarters first took the lead to join our night run in smaller teams. Employees were very excited; they stepped out of they office in their spare time and left their foot prints at different sports venues. By September 14th, 830 grouped with the other two COHL’s subsidiaries, took over the “Dream Run” baton and completed the target of running together. Within five days, many colleagues had their friends and families joined our event. There were more than 2,600 participants involved by the September 19th; they completed 53895 miles in total, which means the COHL’s Run for Fun’s journey had traveled the earth for an entire lap.

By the end of August, “Breeze Run” was held in the Southorn Stadium at Wan Chai. Employees from 830 attended to this lecture and also participated in several games about probity. Employees enjoyed to learn in this entertaining way, and created an “honest, healthy, and friendly” atmosphere together.

In the “Happiness Run” stage, 830 selected five colleagues from Shenzhen and Shanghai; they tried very hard and showed great collaborate spirit at the Hefei marathon. This event joint employees from miles away, they encouraged, respected, and accepted each other throughout the competition.

The 2016 “China Overseas Cup” ended successfully, but our attention to charity, probity, and team collaboration would never ends. We believe the positive and hard working spirit will spread and have a great impact to our daily work. We also believe our staff will keep on contributing more to our company in the future.
