In order to strengthen the company’s corporate culture and to build communication platform for the Far East Global Group Limited’s (refer as 830) subsidiary employees, the 830 Administration Department organized the first “Far East Badminton Championship” at Dayu Badminton Court in Shenzhen. Mr. Zhu Yijian, 830’s Executive Director, Vice Chairman and CEO, delegated with top management and subsidiary company’s general managers presented the competition.
The theme of the competition is “ To work collaboratively, to live healthy”. The game was divided into two parts: round robins, and finals and five different contest: men’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s singles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles. The 36 participants came from 6 different teams: Hong Kong and Macau Team, Xingye Team, Shenzhen Team A, Shenzhen Team B, Shanghai Team, and Xi’an Team. To find out each groups’ cooperation and collaboration, the competition were ranked by points of groups.
The opening ceremony began at 8 am in the morning. After the representing teams debuted, players’ and referees’ vowed, the CEO Mr. Zhu gave a speech about “healthy working”. He encouraged employees to maintain proper working habits, and to balance their work, life, and family. Then, company leaders who attended to the opening ceremony went onto the stage together and ring the horn for the competition. Eight beautiful cheerleaders gave everyone an excited performance. Everyone on site was very exciting for the competition.
Each team had an opportunity to challenge with the rest of other teams during the round robins. Some of the teams met the right opponents and had a higher professional match. Although other teams weren’t as well trained, they followed all the rules and showed respect to all players. Many audiences felt the excitement and cheered as the players waved their rackets during the match. After an intense competition of 6 teams, Shenzhen Team A and Team B won the first and second place, and the Shanghai Team won the 3rd place of this game. The leaders also joined and played a performance game with the winning teams. The event came to an end at 6 pm in the evening, leaders who attended to the game awarded different trophies and prizes to each team.
Through this competition, all employees and members of the subsidiaries got the opportunity to communicate and work with each other. They showed great teamwork and sports spirit. We believe this activity will carry out further and greater connection, and create better corporate culture.
