In order to enrich employees’ spare time and enhancing their understanding and appreciation to Chinese traditional culture, Far East Global (refer as FEGG) held a Chinese Traditional Ink Painting Workshop at Kwun Tong on April 11, 2017.
As our colleagues just entered the studio, they were attracted by the brilliant paintings on the wall. The instructor first explained the general knowledge about ink painting from its history, further development, classification, and techniques. She also demonstrated the use of tool such as: the ration of water and ink, the use of pen, and etc. Colleagues could choose their ideal themes and play with their creativities along the instructor’s guidance. Whether it was a landscape, plant, or animal, each painting includes personal hue. With different strokes and coloring techniques, our colleges created different calm and harmonious Chinese ink painting by the end of the class.
Ink painting is the representative of Chinese Painting. This workshop allowed our colleagues experience and to be influenced by the art of Chinese Painting. Although everyone’s paintings were not as vivid yet, each piece contained the painter’s delicate brush strokes and emotions.
