On August 23, 2017 at noon, typhoon “Hato” (rank 14) landed Zhuhai, China, the entire city was under heavy wind and rain. Due to the wind attack, our construction site, such as site baffles, showrooms and construction equipment were damaged. Fortunately, the Zhuhai construction team was aware of the weather report and organized our workers to leave the site timely and avoided injury. Top Management and leaders from the Shenzhen subsidiary visited the Zhuhai site’s current situation, listened to their reports and actively guided to resettle workers, rebuild site office and resume construction to minimize losses.
On August 29, 2017, Far East Global Group’s CEO, Mr. Zhu Yijian visited the construction site after typhoon and conveyed greetings to employees in the morning. Mr. Zhu was impressed by the construction team’s disaster prevention and post-disaster work. He also suggested a few precautions and guided the production arrangements. Mr. Zhu explained three main substances according to the post-disaster work: first, to prevent the turn up of another disaster afterwards; second, to speed up the repair of the damaged infrastructure; third, to recover our daily construction as soon as possible.
Under the guidance from FEGG Top Management Shenzhen subsidiary, the Zhuhai construction team actively carried out all kinds of operations. At the current stage, each post-disaster work is going smoothly in order.
