December 2017, Far East Global Group (refer as FEGG) was awarded for the first time during the “CarbonCare® ESG Label 2017” awarding program, which was organized by CarbonCare Innolab and Carbon Care Asia Limited. As a listed company, FEGG has been doing high quality reports on our environmental and community care, and preparing for better reports in the future.
The “CarbonCare® ESG Label 2017” was awarded to more than 200 organizations in different fields, including listed companies, private-owned companies, public organizations, small and medium scaled enterprises, non-governmental organizations and etc, since it was carried out in 2011. The goal of this program is to commend on all organizations’ efforts on the sustainable development’s policies and action. The awarding program is divided into three different categories: to complement on each organization’s entity-wide carbon management – “CarbonCare® Label Carbon Management”, to complement on each organization’s pioneering carbon reduction action – “CarbonCare® Action Label Innovative Solution” and to complement on each organization’s solid preparation for ESG Reporting – “CarbonCare® ESG Label Quality Reporting”.
FEGG has been responding frequently to social responsibilities from corporate management to each business division. We have set up regulations, made suggestions, organized environmental protection activities and conducted green revolutions in our office for carbon reduction. Moreover, in order to comply with The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited’s ESG Report requirement started on January 1, 2016, FEGG has been improving it’s reporting contents’ quality, including to explain critical management policy and practice, to calculate actual carbon emissions data and etc.
