For the sake of continuing caring, giving back to the society and participating to the social responsibilities, Far East Global Group (refer as FEGG) held a “Rugby Without Limits” public welfare activity along Treats, a public welfare organization, in Hong Kong on November 4, 2017. Fifteen volunteers from FEGG and fifteen disable students joined this activity.

The intentions of this activity were first to improve interactions, communications and confidence through rugby, then, to meet with people with different abilities and from different backgrounds, especially to understand and accept disables from the society and to live as one harmonious community.
At the beginning, they first did an “ice-breaker” warm up game that the Far East volunteers paired with the students. Under the guidance of the coaches, they worked as partners and played with team spirits. Through groups competitions, all participants got involved and enjoyed. During the activity, the students got initiative, to learn different techniques, try to help and cheer for each others as they got more familiar with the volunteers. Finally, during the sharing section, all participants shared their thoughts that they all had a better understanding of communication, respect and communion.
Naturally, we all deserve the same rights in this society. However, some are born with defects, such as autism and mental-retard. We will be able to see a better world in these students, if we all show them a bit more of patience, appreciation and encouragement. FEGG will keep the commitment of public welfare, let us all make the society a better place!
